Miller & Chevalier Named a Top 30 Global Investigations Practice and Boutique of the Year by Global Investigations Review at 2016 Awards Ceremony

Washington, DC, September 16, 2016 – Miller & Chevalier Chartered proudly announces that the firm was named as one of the top 30 investigations practices globally for the second year in a row in Global Investigations Review's (GIR) GIR 30, an independent guide to the world's best firms for cross-border investigations. The firm placed 11th on a list of top 100 global firms. GIR's top 30 firms include those with particular strength handling sophisticated government-led and internal investigations. According to Global Investigations Review, these are the firms "businesses rely on to investigate problems, handle the fallout, and work with – or defend against – enforcement authorities anywhere in the world," and those that the publication "can recommend as a safe pair of hands for carrying out investigations with an international dimension."

The firm was also recognized by GIR with the Boutique of the Year award, which is given to a smaller firm that acted globally in significant investigations and delivered outstanding outcomes over the past 12 months. In selecting Miller & Chevalier, GIR said the firm had "a stellar past year. The firm consistently lands instructions in the biggest global financial crime cases, including VimpelCom's US$795 million foreign bribery settlement with US and Dutch prosecutors in February."

The awards ceremony took place last evening in New York, NY.
