Miller & Chevalier Named Top 30 Global Investigations Practice by Global Investigations Review at 2015 Awards Ceremony

Washington, DC, September 25, 2015 -- Miller & Chevalier Chartered is pleased to announce the firm was named as one of the top 30 investigations practices globally in the inaugural edition of Global Investigations Review's GIR 30, a new independent guide to the world's best firms for international investigations. The awards ceremony took place last evening in New York, NY. The top 30 firms include those with particular strength investigating potential regulatory breaches, white-collar crime violations and compliance issues. According to Global Investigations Review (GIR), these are the firms "businesses rely on to investigate problems, handle the fallout, and work with -- or defend against -- enforcement authorities anywhere in the world," and those that the publication "can recommend as a safe pair of hands for carrying out investigations with an international dimension."

"Miller & Chevalier is pleased to be ranked as one of the top 30 global investigations practices," said Kathryn Cameron Atkinson, Chair of the firm's International department. "We are proud of the investigations work we do on behalf of clients around the globe, and we thank GIR for recognizing those efforts."

Mark Rochon, Chair of the firm's Litigation department, said receiving the accolade is significant because it confirms that a well-equipped, focused boutique can compete globally with the world's largest law firms. "We are honored that our clients trust us to handle their most complex investigations work, and we appreciate GIR's recognition of our practice and lawyers," he said.

The GIR 30 is part of the GIR 100, an annual guide to the world's most trusted firms for cross-border investigations and selection is based on independent research by the publication's editorial team. Each firm in the GIR 100 is included only after GIR's editorial team has vetted their current and past work to establish that they have gained experience at the highest level. The top 30 firms represent the very best of the practices included in the book.
