Tax Member and Department Vice Chair Marc Gerson's election to serve as Chair of Miller & Chevalier, which is effective July 1, was covered by CityBizList. Gerson has a long history of leadership at Miller & Chevalier. After starting as an Associate in 1995, he rejoined the firm in 2007 after serving as Majority Tax Counsel to the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Ways and Means. He has served as Chair of the Lawyer Development Committee and as a member of both the Compensation and Nominating Committees, in addition to his current position as Vice Chair of the Tax Department.
