About Washingtonian Magazine's Top Lawyers

The Washingtonian Top Lawyers list features DC-based attorneys across 16 practice areas. Washingtonian Magazine invited all past "Top Lawyers" to participate in a survey and nominate their peers, which was then vetted by the magazine's editorial team via interviews with more lawyers and case research. The magazine chose to feature lawyers in practice areas for which their readers most commonly need recommendations.
