Miller & Chevalier Secures Dismissal in Putative Securities Fraud Action

Washington, DC, March 27, 2026 – Miller & Chevalier represented Harish Chidambaran, former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of iLearningEngines, Inc., in successfully obtaining the dismissal of all claims in a putative securities fraud class action suit filed in federal court alleging false revenue reporting at his former company.

The court granted the defendants' motion to dismiss with prejudice, concluding that the plaintiffs failed to plead actionable misstatements or scienter sufficient to support the claims. The court further found that the plaintiffs had not adequately alleged loss causation or standing. The ruling disposes of all claims asserted against Chidambaran and the other defendants.

The Miller & Chevalier team was led by Members Laura Ferguson and Katherine Pappas, supported by Counsel Bradley Markano. This representation reflects the firm's continued strength in complex civil litigation and high stakes enforcement adjacent matters. "This case involved sophisticated issues at the intersection of SPAC transactions, GAAP disclosure requirements, and securities fraud pleading standards. We are pleased with the dismissal and with the court's thorough analysis of the issues presented," Pappas said.
