Kevin Dawes Interviewed by NPR News on his Detention and Torture by Syrian Government

Miller & Chevalier client Kevin Dawes was the victim of torture at the hands of the Syrian regime. He was recently interviewed by Deborah Amos of NPR News regarding the horrific circumstances of his more than three years of detention and torture in a Syrian prison. Mr. Dawes detailed his ongoing struggles with the physical and mental aftermath of the torture he endured. In November, Miller & Chevalier sued Syria on behalf of Mr. Dawes in the United States District Court for the District of Columbia, for his false imprisonment and torture.
