Kathryn Cameron Atkinson, Alejandra Montenegro Almonte, Maria Lapetina, and Leah Moushey Named to Latin America's Top 100 Female Lawyers List by Latinvex

Washington, DC, October 15, 2021 – Miller & Chevalier Chartered is pleased to announce that Firm Chair Kathryn Cameron Atkinson, International Department Vice Chair Alejandra Montenegro Almonte, Counsel Maria Lapetina, and Senior Associate Leah Moushey were named as four of Latin America's Top 100 Female Lawyers for 2021 by Latinvex. Atkinson and Montenegro Almonte are making their fifth consecutive appearance on the Latinvex annual list of the region's top women lawyers. This is the second consecutive year for Lapetina and Moushey. All four lawyers were recognized in the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and Fraud category. Lapetina was also recognized in the Arbitration and Litigation category.

"Each of these stellar attorneys plays a key role on Miller & Chevalier's recognized Latin America investigations and compliance team. On a daily basis they work at the cutting edge of fraud and corruption issues in Latin America, and the recognitions are well deserved," said Matteson Ellis, Member and Latin America Practice Lead.

Miller & Chevalier was recognized as a standout firm this year, one of only three firms to reach this achievement. Standout firms are recognized as having three or more lawyers named to the Top 100 list.
