Miller & Chevalier Recognized as a Top Law Firm Providing Anti-Corruption Advice in Latin America

Washington, DC, August 2, 2013 -- Miller & Chevalier announced today that the firm and several of its lawyers were recognized by Latin Lawyer as top providers of anti-corruption advice in Latin America. Honorees included firm Members Homer E. Moyer Jr. and James G. Tillen, as well as Special Counsel Matteson Ellis.

Latin Lawyer published an independent survey identifying the leading names for anti-corruption work in the region, pinpointing those firms and lawyers that combine anti-corruption and Latin American expertise. According to the survey, "Miller & Chevalier Chartered is one of a limited group of firms that harbors an impressive knowledge of, and an extensive track-record in, complex anti-corruption matters in Latin America."

The survey lauded Moyer, founder of the firm's FCPA & International Anti-Corruption practice, as a "dean of the FCPA." Tillen, who leads the firm's anti-corruption efforts with Ellis in Latin America, was noted for standing "at the foundation of the firm's 2008 and 2012 Latin America corruption surveys, which further underscore Miller & Chevalier's interest in and dedication to their anti-corruption work in the region." Ellis was highlighted for his "... language skills and keen eye for local Latin American sensitivities and situations."
