Tyler Jackson is an Associate in the firm's Tax department, where he focuses on tax controversy matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Tyler gained stand-up trial experience at a global law firm and handled Internal Revenue Service (IRS) disputes at both administrative and litigation stages. He served in several public sector roles, including as an intern with the Federal Public Defender for the District of South Carolina and as a judicial intern to Chief Judge R. Bryan Harwell of the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina. At Georgetown University Law Center, Tyler was Symposium Editor for the Georgetown Journal of Legal Ethics and a member of the Appellate Advocacy Division of Barristers' Council (Moot Court). Tyler brings a strong foundation in tax litigation and dispute resolution to support clients navigating complex tax controversy matters.
