Michael Desmond, James Gadwood, Samuel Lapin, Katherine Chace, and Tyler Jackson will speak at the American Bar Association's (ABA) 2026 May Tax Meeting on May 7-9, 2026. Desmond will present, as a part of a panel, "Demystifying the Tax Guidance Process" and "Tax Practice and the Democratic Process." Gadwood will moderate "What is an "Item" and What Does it Mean for Tax Accounting?" Lapin will moderate the session "Cross-Border Controversies: Defending Tax Planning in the Post-TCJA Era." Chace will serve as moderator for "Foreign Owners and Broken Ground – Small Decisions with Outsized Impacts." Jackson will moderate the panel discussion "I'm a Celebrity, Get My Case Out of Here – Considerations on When to Take Your Case to Court and the Court of Public Opinion."
