Chadwick (Chad) Rowland's* practice centers on international tax matters, with substantial experience in cross-border acquisitions, restructurings, partnership transactions, transfers of intangible property, and repatriations. He brings extensive insight from his tenure at the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), where he served as a Senior Technical Reviewer in the Office of Chief Counsel (International: Branch 4), following his prior role as a staff attorney in the same branch, handling complex international tax issues. In 2023, Chad was detailed to the Deputy Chief Counsel (Technical) and Acting Chief Counsel, serving as a drafting and legal consultant across all divisions of the Office of Chief Counsel.  

Prior to his work at the IRS, Chad built a strong foundation in tax through legal internships and research assistantships focused on constitutional law and low-income taxpayer advocacy. He brings a government perspective and a robust understanding of tax law to advise clients with strategic and informed guidance on navigating complex international tax challenges and regulatory risks. Chad's distinguished public sector background informs his practical insights and refined approach to international tax planning.
