Jeffrey Tebbs will join Sandeep Sharma, Managing Director at KPMG to present, "International Tax Issues," to members of the International Stability Operations Association (ISOA) on March 7, 2023. This presentation will discuss international tax challenges faced by organizations supporting global stability operations. The speakers will provide an overview of tax relief afforded by treaties, including income tax conventions, social security totalization agreements, and Status of Forces Agreements. The discussion will cover traps for the unwary when evaluating the VAT/GST cost of cross-border government contracts. The presenters will also address recent U.S. international tax developments, including new restrictions on foreign tax credits and guidance on export tax incentives (FDII).
