Matteson Ellis will present on a panel discussion titled "What’s Happening in the LATAM Region? Detecting Recent Corruption Schemes in Brazil, Venezuela, Colombia, Argentina, and Mexico" during American Conference Institute's Anti-Corruption Boot Camp on October 15, 2014. During this discussion, panelists will discuss the types of transactions used to channel bribes and the range of schemes employed to evade internal controls, examples of collusive deals undertaken by corrupt employees, the convergance of bribery, money laundering and securities fraud, and the sophistication of techniques and how to flag them.
