Scott Flesch commented on the Trump administration's regulatory rollback, specifically the significant reduction in rulemaking activity at key federal agencies and its potential operational consequences. "We're seeing a big downward spiral of policy implementation at certain agencies until guidance is stripped away to the point where more guidance is needed to fulfill missions. There is likely a recognition that more guidance is needed and that will likely materialize in the last two years of the administration. You can strip only so much away before it affects operations," Flesch said. He also addressed the shift in federal fleet management priorities: "We saw the Biden administration favor the acquisition and sustainment of an environmentally friendly fleet. Now we're seeing a curtailment of the use and acquisition of electric vehicles and hybrid vehicles."
