In Dow Jones Risk Journal, Collmann Griffin details the U.S. Department of Commerce's Bureau of Industry and Security's (BIS) heightened scrutiny of the diversion of U.S. technology to U.S. adversaries. "Over the past three years, the government of Ukraine has meticulously documented components recovered from the battlefield debris of Russian, Iranian and North Korean weapons," Griffin wrote. "This debris reveals a startling fact: Nearly every missile or drone used by a U.S. adversary in Ukraine contains one or more components made by a U.S.-based company."
