Miller & Chevalier and Homer E. Moyer, Jr. Honored at the Main Justice Best FCPA Lawyers Client Service Awards

Washington, DC, April 25, 2013 – Miller & Chevalier Chartered today announced that the firm received a Distinguished Service Award in the "Compliance Champions" category at the first annual Main Justice Best FCPA Lawyers Client Service Awards. Miller & Chevalier Member and firm Vice Chair Homer E. Moyer, Jr. was also recognized as an "FCPA Master" for his more than three decades of work in the international anti-corruption field.

The Client Service Awards highlight achievements of law firms and lawyers who demonstrated exceptional service representing companies and executives in FCPA and global anti-corruption matters during 2012. The winners were selected through a combination of interviews with more than 100 lawyers and in-house counsel, submissions by law firms, a review of public records and reporting on FCPA and anti-corruption matters by Main Justice. The award ceremony was held April 23 at the Hotel Monaco in Washington, DC.

"Our distinguished clients are our strongest credential," Moyer said, "so we are pleased to be recognized by Main Justice with an award honoring Miller & Chevalier's commitment to outstanding client service."

"We congratulate Homer on being named an "FCPA Master," said Kathryn Cameron Atkinson, Chair of Miller & Chevalier's International Department. "The award is a well-deserved recognition of his significant accomplishments and contributions to the anti-corruption bar."

Dana-Megan Rossi, Publisher of Main Justice, said the Client Service Awards were created as a way to highlight the importance of well-rounded client service, and not just the biggest headlines. The recognitions "… honor law firms and attorneys recommended for their ability to exhibit a high degree of professionalism, good judgment and zealous advocacy," she said.
