"Obama Nominates Public Defender Training Director to Serve on DC Superior Court"

The National Law Journal

Michael Satin commented on President Obama's nomination of Jason Tulley, the current training director of the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia, to the DC Superior Court. Satin is a former training director in the Public Defender office and said he believes Tulley would make a great judge given his litigation experience and background in forensic science. Satin praised Tulley as smart, fair, creative, and possessing a good sense of humor. "He's intellectually curious, he treats people with respect," Satin said.
