In The Christian Science Monitor, Matteson Ellis described the significant corruption and compliance risks companies face as they consider reentering Venezuela’s energy sector. "PDVSA is perhaps the most corrupt state-owned entity in Latin America. "There haven't been many international companies in Venezuela for so many years. It's really an unknown landscape."
