Matteson Ellis commented on TRACE International's 2018 Global Enforcement Report, which indicates that government authorities outside the U.S. are increasingly clamping down on foreign bribery, with a 29 percent increase in bribery investigations by non-U.S. government authorities. The increase is a result of the adoption of anticorruption standards and more international cooperation in enforcement, Ellis said.
