The International Comparative Legal Guide provides cross-border legal analysis into sanctions law, with each chapter authored by leading sanctions lawyers. In their chapter, O'Toole and Hussain discuss how recent sanctions and export enforcement actions highlight the increased coordination between different government agencies – including the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), the Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS), and the Department of Justice (DOJ) – and the significance of sanctions and export compliance. O'Toole and Hussain note that sanctions and export issues relating to Iran, Cuba, Venezuela, and China are of particular focus.
