George Hani and Jim Gadwood Co-Author 2023-2 Supplement to Leading Treatise on Federal Tax Accounting
Washington, DC, November 16, 2023 – Miller & Chevalier Tax Controversy & Litigation Practice Lead George Hani and Tax Department Vice Chair Jim Gadwood have co-authored the second 2023 supplement for Federal Tax Accounting, originally authored by firm Senior Counsel Steve Gertzman and published by Warren, Gorham & Lamont (a Thomson Reuters company). Federal Tax Accounting is generally recognized as the leading authority on the topic and is used by many colleges, universities, and law schools.
The newly released supplement contains a completely revised and expanded Chapter 8, "Changes in Methods of Accounting." The revised chapter integrates all prior revisions to the chapter which previously appeared in the supplement. This is the first time a chapter in the treatise has received a full rewrite since Warren, Gorham & Lamont published the second edition.
"We're particularly proud of this supplement," Gadwood said. "Rewriting Chapter 8 was a heavy lift, but well worth the effort. We sincerely hope our readers find the updated and expanded discussion clear, accessible, and relevant in both practitioner and educational contexts."
Further information about the treatise can be found here.
