Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) early this morning announced that a deal has been reached on sweeping legislation to render direct financial assistance to locked-down individuals and businesses temporarily shuttered by the coronavirus outbreak. He said that the Senate will pass the bill today.

The text of the bill has not been posted yet. It is expected to be released early this morning. 

The Senate is scheduled to resume at noon today.
