"New Survey Analyzes Country Differences in Corruption in Eurasia"

Corporate Counsel

Ann Sultan commented on the launch of the firm's inaugural ECA Corruption Survey. Sultan discussed how significant legal and political change has affected the perception of corruption in the region. Furthermore, Sultan noted, "One of the most interesting results to me was that, despite their differences, the respondents saw similar ways to move forward for their countries. On the question about how to reduce corruption, all of them chose one of the three top answers – an independent judiciary, transparency in the public sector, and objective investigation and prosecution by authorities."
