Timothy O'Toole was quoted on the expected increase in certain white collar cases and investigations because of the COVID-19 pandemic. O'Toole stated that False Claims Act and health care fraud cases may rise. "I've seen a number of claims being made about what particular drugs and treatments can and cannot do, and to the extent those are potentially false, I think you'll see some focus on that sort of conduct," O'Toole said. "After the pandemic is over, I think that's what people will be looking back towards - were people and companies trying to exploit the emergency to make money through fraud?"
