Marc Gerson commented on the U.S. Senate's reaction to the U.S. House of Representatives' revised version of the Retirement, Savings, and Other Tax Relief Act of 2018. "The Senate may want changes, but there will be the question of how much time there is for a back and forth," said Gerson, Firm Chair and former tax counsel for the U.S. House Committee on Ways and Means. "But clearly, Chairman [Kevin] Brady is focused on putting forth this proposal with a practical path to enactment by the end of the session."
