Linda E. Carlisle* and Rocco V. Femia will be speaking at Practising Law Institute's (PLI's) Basics of International Taxation 2014 in San Francisco on September 22, 2014. Femia will be presenting as part of a panel titled "Controlled Foreign Corporations (CFCs) and Subpart F." Carlisle will present opening remarks as a Co-Chair of the conference.

PLI's conference will discuss the issues raised by inbound and outbound investments and describe how the U.S. tax rules address the issues raised. It will also focus upon how these rules impact financings, mergers, acquisitions, and other commercial activities.
