Alejandra Montenegro Almonte will present, "Investigative Challenges – Privilege, Privacy, Self-reporting Considerations," a panel discussion at the GIR Interactive: Regional Spotlight – Latin America virtual event on December 10, 2020.

Panelists will share their perspectives regarding identifying and overcoming key investigative challenges in the Latin American region, including during a pandemic. These issues include the applicability and preservation of attorney-client privilege and compliance with the growing array of data privacy requirements. The panel also will address important considerations in dealing with authorities across multiple jurisdictions, including as to self-reporting, cooperating, and negotiating coordinated resolutions.
