George Hani will discuss the new IDR enforcement process for large businesses being audited by the IRS during a webinar sponsored by Corporate Executive Board's Tax Leadership Council. Effective January 2, 2014, IRS examiners within the Large Business and International (LB&I) division of the IRS are required to follow step-by-step process when a taxpayer fails to timely respond to an Information Document Requests (IDR). This webinar will review the steps in the new process, discuss the goals and objectives of the new process, and assess potential impact on the audit dynamic between taxpayers and the IRS.
