Timothy O'Toole will speak at the ABA Section of International Law: 2019 U.S. Export Controls Year-in-Review on February 19, 2020, in Washington, DC. This panel discussion will cover significant developments in 2019 with respect to U.S. export controls targeting China and Cuba and developments under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Export Administration Regulations (EAR), and the Export Control Reform Act of 2018. Enforcement trends under U.S. export controls, including the Department of Justice's updated voluntary disclosure policy will also be discussed.
