Richard Mojica discussed the surge of shipment detentions by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) based on allegations of forced labor in a company's supply chains. "In some industries, [forced-labor] is the most important trade-related topic right now," he said, adding that "CBP is getting more resources and more backing generally to pursue these enforcement actions… this is a tool that will continue to grow in the years to come."
