Mojica noted that stronger and more consistent enforcement from CBP would give businesses greater incentive to maintain rigorous due diligence efforts. "Companies continue to maneuver around within the bounds of what is legal," Mojica said. "In order for companies to continue to invest in diligence and to take it seriously, CBP has to enforce more."
