Global Investigations Review

Miller and Chevalier's representation of VimpelCom in a large Foreign Corrupt Practices Act settlement with U.S. and Dutch regulators was mentioned in Global Investigations Review. The company is now a model for how companies can work to quickly and favorably resolve foreign bribery charges and is being lauded for admitting to misconduct at an early stage in the government's investigation and for making a concerted effort to facilitate the resolution of a foreign bribery probe. Members Mark Rochon and John Davis represented VimpelCom in the settlement as well as in the internal investigation.
