Maria Jones and Kevin Kenworthy Named 2014 Tax Controversy Leaders By International Tax Review

Washington, DC, September 9, 2014 -- Miller & Chevalier Chartered today announced that firm Members Maria Jones and Kevin Kenworthy were named in International Tax Review's (ITR) 2014 Tax Controversy Leaders publication. The publication is a guide recognizing the leading tax dispute resolution lawyers and advisers in the world.

ITR researchers and journalists make selections based on a minimum number of nominations received and listed practitioners must possess evidence of outstanding success in the past year as well as consistently positive feedback from peer and client interviews. Inclusion in the guide is defined by lawyers' "acute understanding of both sides' approach to controversy and litigation matters," ITR said.

"We commend Maria and Kevin for their depth of experience in tax dispute resolution," said Patricia Sweeney, Chair of Miller & Chevalier's Tax Department. "This international recognition highlights their commitment to resolving the most complex tax controversy matters on behalf of their clients."
