Marc Gerson commented on the potential inclusion of the so-called "tax extenders" package when Congress addresses payroll tax legislation that is set to expire next month. Gerson said many companies see the legislation as a potential legislative vehicle in which to attach the package, which over many decades has grown from a handful of provisions to approximately 60 separate provisions.
