James Tillen Quoted in the Daily Telegraph Regarding Siemens Charges

Subtitle
"Ex-Siemens Staff Face U.S. Bribery Charges"

Daily Telegraph

James Tillen comments on the charges against eight former Siemens executives under the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, in a signal of the U.S. government’s growing intent to bring individuals to justice, not just hand out fines to companies. Tillen said, "It's certainly the Department of Justice and SEC's strategy to prosecute more individuals because it sends a stronger deterrent message than going after corporations. When you put someone in jail, especially an executive, it sends a much stronger message than fining a company."
