In this article, Matteson Ellis discusses the Clean Companies Act, the recent bill approved by a special committee of the Brazilian House of Representatives that overhauls the laws targeting bribery and other corruption. While the bill is a significant step forward for Brazil's anti-corruption laws, it may not be enough to meet their obligations under the Anti-Bribery Convention of the OECD.
