"The Finance 202: Trump's Trade War Sends Big Business to K Street"

The Washington Post

Richard Mojica commented on the scores of businesses hiring trade specialists to help them convince the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) to exclude their products from new tariffs that more than double the duties on $200 billion worth of goods from China. The moves come as President Trump threatens to extend the 25 percent tariffs to all goods imported from the country. Mojica has received an "avalanche of inquiries," he said, "from both existing clients and new clients who up until very recently have not had to deal with the tariffs or deal with them as urgently as they have to right now."
