Firm Chair Marc Gerson commented on the high demand for tax aides to move into the private sector following passage of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. Businesses looking to hire covet the knowledge and skills the staffers gained while working on the new tax law. "These folks are obviously wildly valuable resources," said Gerson, who formerly served as Majority Tax Counsel to the House Committee on Ways and Means.
