Ann Sultan commented on Miller & Chevalier's FCPA Autumn Review 2018 and key themes regarding the FCPA, anti-corruption, and bribery. Sultan discussed several major themes, including enforcement actions for the quarter, lessons learned from a few of the key cases, and ongoing international activity. "In the six actions that the [Securities and Exchange Commission] (SEC) resolved this quarter, we saw a re-emphasis of several of the common challenges that publicly traded companies may face when they're seeking to comply specifically with the FCPA's accounting provision," she said.
