Miller & Chevalier hosted a trade policy breakfast featuring Ambassador Susan Harper, the Minister for Economic and Trade Affairs in the Canadian Embassy in Washington, DC, on Thursday, June 26, 2008.

Ambassador Harper addressed the Canadian economic and trade agenda both in North America, as well as with regard to other countries and regions. Amb. Harper is the senior most official in the Canadian Embassy responsible for the economic and trade relationship with the United States. She has served in numerous posts during her long tenure at the Canadian Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade. She has been an astute observer of Canadian trade and economic relations with the U.S. and the world and an active participant in the policymaking process, and her insights should be timely and of great interest.
