This four-day conference, co-sponsored by the National Legal Aid and Defender Association; Federal Training Branch of the Federal office of Defender Services; National Alliance of Indigent Defense Educators; and the Louisiana Appellate Project, offers an intensive learning experience designed specifically for public defenders who represent indigent defendants in criminal trials and appeals with a national skills training that brings together state and federal trial court and appellate public defenders.
