NACDL's 5th Annual White Collar Criminal Defense College at Stetson

Timothy P. O'Toole, Preston Pugh,* and Addy R. Schmitt* will speak during the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers White Collar Criminal Defense College. This event is a four day "boot-camp" from March 16-19. This program is for practitioners wishing to gain key advocacy skills and learn substantive white collar law and will cover client retention, investigation in a white collar case, handling searches and grand jury subpoenas, and dealing with parallel proceedings. 

O'Toole will present during the panel, "Proffers, Discovery, Jury Selection, Preserving the Record for Appeal" and during the "Cross Examination" interactive breakout session. Pugh will present on the "how to's" in investigations which will focus on planning for investigations, ethical issues in providing Upjohn warnings and the effects of the Yates Memo on interviewing witnesses implicated in the concerns that led to the investigations. Schmitt will present during the panel, "Parallel Proceedings" and will participate during the interactive breakout sessions.
