This program, sponsored by the Public Corruption Subcommittee of the American Bar Association and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, will examine the Supreme Court’s much anticipated ruling on the federal “honest services fraud” statute, 18 U.S.C. § 1346, and the ramifications it will have on public corruption prosecution and defense. The panel will evaluate the new state of the law and explore the ruling’s impact on pending cases.
