Erin Sweeney will speak at the ABA Section of Labor and Employment Law: 2020 Employment Rights and Responsibilities Committee Midwinter Meeting on March 18, 2020, in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Sweeney will moderate the panel discussion, "The Opioid Epidemic and Escalating Prescription Drug Costs: Are Your Clients Footing the Bill?" Panelists will discuss what employers, unions, employees, insurance carriers, pharmacy benefit managers, service providers, and employee benefit plans need to know about the opioid epidemic to provide appropriate care and manage prescription drug costs, and how the crisis impacts collective bargaining.
