Larry Christensen comments on President Obama's recently announced proposed reforms to the export control regime which currently restrict sales of high-tech products to foreign customers. These changes would include a revision of the munitions list to apply strict restrictions only to military technologies. “This week is the first time we are seeing concrete action” on specific revisions says Christensen. The proposed rewrite of the munitions list, he says, “provides much greater clarity on what’s required from exporters. … We’re starting to see the next level of detail.”
