A March 2008 speech in São Paulo, Brazil, given in Portuguese by Matteson Ellis and assisted in English by James Tillen regarding the application of the U.S. FCPA to Brazilian companies and individuals is included in the Brazilian publication. The magazine PropMark also published an opinion piece about the presentation which stated: "There is often much talk about corruption but in ways that do not always address what can actually be done to combat corruption. The [Miller & Chevalier] presentation accomplished just that in the company of one hundred young lawyers, including São Paulo lawyers, debating concrete ways that the tentacles of this hateful monster can be severed by companies operating throughout the world, and especially by our own companies."
