Miller & Chevalier Economic Sanctions Webinar Series: Iran

Miller & Chevalier hosted the first event in the Economic Sanctions Webinar Series, which focused on U.S. sanctions and export controls on Iran and addressed the major pitfalls in transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and enforcement for U.S. corporations, non-U.S. corporations, and individuals. The webinar included an overview of the enforcement environment and extraterritorial reach over non-U.S. firms via reexport controls and vicarious liability for U.S. persons working in non-U.S. companies, as well as a discussion of the restrictions on U.S. lawyers and other U.S. persons, from facilitating and approving third country trade with Iran.
