12th Biennial Parker C. Fielder Oil and Gas Tax Conference

Houston, TX

This two-day conference, sponsored by The University of Texas School of Law and The Office of Chief Counsel, Internal Revenue Service, will discuss the reemergence of a domestic oil and gas industry, including the effect shale plays on the domestic energy market and discussions of current energy taxation issues.

David B. Cubeta will present on a panel titled "Oil and Gas Farmout Transactions: Planning for the Key Tax Issues in the Lifecycle of the Trade" and Kevin L. Kenworthy will present on a panel titled "Foreign Tax Credit Issues for the Oil and Gas Industry." Phillip L. Mann will serve as one of the presiding officers for the conference.
