The Language of Bribery in Latin America

In this blog post, Matteson Ellis and Leah Moushey analyze the local terms used to describe bribery throughout Latin America as a whole and in 18 individual countries, as identified in Miller & Chevalier's 2016 Latin American Corruption Survey. Understanding the native language used to describe bribery can aid compliance training in the region, support electronic document searches, and help companies identify corruption risks and respond with appropriate compliance strategies, the authors said.
