Tax Member Loren Ponds discussed the role of digital services taxes (DSTs) in negotiations around international tax harmonization. Noting a U.S. proposal for Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) member-countries to drop such levies, Ponds said "it's a matter of everybody dropping their weapons at the same time" and "nobody wants to go first."
